What customers say?

“ L’Identité Restaurant delivered an absolutely outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully crafted, refined, and full of character. The starters were elegant and perfectly balanced – delicate flavors, thoughtful combinations, and stunning presentation. The seafood dishes were exceptional: fresh, expressive, and handled with great precision, allowing the natural taste of each ingredient to shine. The meat courses were just as impressive. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and deeply flavorful, with sauces that added richness without overpowering the main ingredient. Each plate showed a clear sense of technique, creativity, and respect for the product. Desserts were a true finale – sophisticated, visually striking, and wonderfully balanced, combining sweetness, texture, and freshness in a way that leaves a lasting impression. On top of the incredible food, the service was simply superb. Attentive, warm, professional, and perfectly timed, making the entire evening feel relaxed, seamless, and genuinely special. L’Identité is a place where everything comes together: exceptional cuisine, beautiful presentation, and top-class service. A truly memorable experience and an absolute pleasure to recommend. ”

“ A stunning place with a wonderful atmosphere and a very warm welcome! The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel like visiting old friends. The cuisine is an art in itself. We tried several appetizers: • Pumpkin velouté soup – the most delicate texture, complemented by a "perfect egg" and the subtle aroma of smoked gaddock cream. • Lamb and pork belly – simply delicious! The meat was so tender it literally melted in your mouth, and the combination with the sauces and side dishes was flawless. For main courses, we chose: 1. Koatériad fish soup – incredibly rich, flavorful, and thick. A true taste of the sea in one bowl, highly recommended for seafood lovers. 2. Veal chop – the meat was cooked to perfection: juicy, tender, with a stunning nut sauce that brings out the flavor of the dish in a completely new way. Each dish is presented like a miniature work of art. If you're looking for a place with warm service and fine cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit! ”

“ We visited L'identité as a family of four with our children, and it was by far the best restaurant experience we had during our holiday in France. Located on a quiet street in Quimper, the atmosphere was elegant and relaxed. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. ”

“ Cozy restaurant, very pleasant staff, fair prices. We went there this Saturday at lunchtime. Set menu with starter, main course, and dessert with two choices. The food was very good, comforting, and full of flavor. We had a wonderful meal. We will return as soon as we have the opportunity. Thank you for this meal. ”

“ A wonderful experience with this restaurant. We hadn't planned on eating there; it was after losing my cell phone that the owner reported it missing on social media, and that's how we ended up going to see them. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. To begin with, the welcome was very pleasant. The waiter was smiling, friendly, and attentive—everything to set the stage for a great meal. For my starter, I chose duck foie gras with seaweed and a brown sauce, a true delight for the taste buds. For my main course, I chose the roast chicken and chorizo with carrot and pea purée, a real treat. And to finish, a chocolate shortbread, the perfect sweet ending. In conclusion, it was a very pleasant discovery, and we will definitely return, but with more people next time! ”

“ For once, I'm posting a review on my first visit. My rating for this restaurant: 17/20. We ordered two "Pleasure Menus" with: - Starters: Foie gras duo + seaweed tartare + brown jus; lamb shoulder cromesquis + chickpea mousse + soy jus. - Main course: Lobster tail + Pont-Neuf potatoes + shellfish bisque. - Desserts: Apricot and verbena nage + yogurt ice cream; chocolate/caramel crisp, etc. (I don't remember the menu item on the blackboard). - Drinks: 33cl Séhédic cider. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The cooking, textures, tastes, and flavor combinations were perfect and delicious. Except for the seaweed tartare placed on top of the semi-cooked foie gras. Indeed, this tartare, while very good on its own, didn't go well with the foie gras in my opinion. The combination wasn't quite right. Note that the owner, who was serving, barely tasted it. This is my second negative point: her reaction. She really has trouble accepting feedback. When you have a food business, you have to be able to accept and take into account your customers' comments and then share them with the chef! And not just say, "The chef likes it." Finally, the 33cl Séhédic ciders are excellent, nothing like the ciders from the Menhirs distillery, where I usually buy my ciders. The price is high, but the quality is there. To summarize: very good food, a quiet location on the terrace, a price justified given the work done, and a manager who has to accept customers' "negative" comments. ”

“ It's been a long time since I've eaten so well in a restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you sense that the place is well-kept, with a calm, elegant, yet unpretentious atmosphere. The service is discreet, professional, and above all, warm—you feel welcomed, not just served. We chose the €39 menu, and each course was a true pleasure. The foie gras was perfectly seasoned, meltingly tender, and accompanied by just the right condiment. The seafood ravioli, thin and delicate, offered a beautiful balance between freshness and indulgence. For the main course, the veal was tender and cooked to perfection, and the meat of the day (equally well-done) demonstrated that quality doesn't depend on choice. The side dishes were well-crafted, without being overdone, with clean, controlled flavors. And the desserts... the revisited Breton palet and the homemade madeleines rounded off the meal with sweetness and simplicity. Nothing extravagant, but everything was just right, delicious, and well-thought-out. This isn't a flashy restaurant; it's a place where the food speaks for itself. You can tell the ingredients are carefully selected, the cooking methods are respected, and the kitchen team loves what they do. A truly wonderful discovery, one that makes you want to come back—and recommend without hesitation. ”
